Team Calendar
A note about practice times:
Our primary team calendar is communicated to families through an online application called Team Snap. We have found Team Snap very effective and convenient for families. However, since you’re here, we can provide some general descriptions.
Practices:
Tuesdays - 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Thursdays - 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Saturdays - 9:00 am to noon
Generally, coaches will encourage/expect all kids to attend all practices (3 / wk.). Cycling is an endurance sport that builds upon previous practices. Athlete muscular and aerobic endurance will progress quickly and those who skip practice will soon find it difficult to keep pace with the others.
We also realize that we are practicing during the summer months, when families have vacations and other obligations. Our team is happy to encourage team members to fully enjoy those times with their families. Additionally, we understand that unavoidable conflicts happen and we believe that no athlete should feel pressured to participate in team activities if there are appropriate reasons to be away.
But always remember that you’ve joined a club and your teammates want you to be there! You will get stronger faster, suffer less, and have more fun if you attend every practice!
